Ubisoft is fully focused towards its upcoming action adventure title, the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey which was announced for PC, PS4 and Xbox One but lately, the developers confirmed a Nintendo Switch version for the game, which will be streamed from the cloud service.

Good news for the Switch owners that they will be able to experience the new Assassin’s Creed Odyssey but the service will be limited in Japan only, just like Capcom released the Resident Evil 7 for Switch owners back in May. The news was confirmed during Nintendo Direct event and it was also revealed that the streaming will be available from October 5th, 2018.

Unfortunately, there’s no news regarding the Switch users in the remaining part of the world and the service appears to limited to Japanese audience, just like the Resident Evil 7. As per the reports, the game pass for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey cloud version will be priced around 8400 Japanese Yen, pass for 180 days is priced around 2000 yen. Whereas the 24 hour access will be priced around 730 Japanese Yen.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be set during the time of the Flavian Dynasty (69 AD) in the regions of Achaea, Macedonia, Thrace and the Aegean Sea, but not Asia Minor (much of modern Greece).
