Some time ago, AMD introduced two bad boys in the mainland market named as Athlon X4 860K and FX-8300. We can say in both processors there was nothing new. We already see those marketing gimmicks from procedures. Recently, a few days ago, there was a news that AMD will have to launch three new Processors, and some of Models from previous FX Series will sold after huge cuts in prices. Now we know that the new models are named as FX-8370, FX-8370E and FX-8320E.

AMD To Introduce x86 Piledriver Based Flagships : FX-8370 / 8370E / 8320E

AMD FX 8370

To me there is still nothing new in those three Processors. Still the old-fashioned x86 piledriver based flagships with Eight-core design, including FX-8370 frequency of 4.1GHz (Turbo Boost to 4.3GHz), compared to the FX-8350 to enhance only the 100MHz, rest, and the latter no difference, TDP of 125W, 2MB L2 cache and 8MB L3 cache, support for dual-channel DDR3 memory.

FX-8370E this processor looks quite interesting, TDP is only 95W, the remaining specifications if we compared it with FX-8370 are basically totally same, the price is $189. As for the FX-8320E is a 95W TDP processor, but AMD has not yet announced specific specifications.

In addition, in response to Intel’s “Devil’s Canyon” processor, had also mentioned that part of the unofficial news FX series processors will improve the competitiveness of the way through lower prices, including FX-6300 will cut prices from 80 pounds to about 70 pounds. The FX-9590 will cut prices from 225 pounds to 175 pounds.

AMD’s new X86 architecture will have to wait until 2016, there is one and a half years from the time around now, maybe within this painful and lengthy time piledriver architecture processors will be through the provision of frequency.
