Latest leak from AMD New Horizon event revealed details for AMD’s upcoming Ryzen CPUs, which will be officially presented tomorrow, but for now we know that it will use 8 Zen cores with 16 threads at a frequency that is indicated as 3.40 GHz +, which could be a base frequency of 3.40 GHz. This CPU offers 20MB of cache level 2 and level 3 (L2 and L3) using new technologies.

Extended Frequency Range (XFR) is a technology that allows to overcome the frequencies above the limits of the Turbo frequency, where the frequency will scale according to what type of cooling system we are using water or liquid nitrogen, or in other word frequency will be scaled automatically according to temperatures and load.

Smart Prefetch is deep learning algorithms which are used to anticipate the times of access to information. With Pure Power we have a technology that will monitor the temperature, speed and voltage in real time to a constant power consumption savings. Finally,  Precision Boost allows maximum CPU performance may increase the frequency increments of 25 MHz for maximum power tuning. In an official presentation tomorrow, hopefully we will also see some performance tests.
