AMD confirms Radeon RX 460 and Radeon RX 470 Specifications and Price

Unfortunately, we have no release date, but you can expect these new Graphics cards on sale in August.

AMD Radeon RX 470

The AMD Radeon RX 470 would have a total of 2048 Stream Processors with 4GB  (reference model) or 8 GB of GDDR5 @ 7000 MHz memory  (8Gb VRAM in custom models only) with memory interface of 256 bits resulting bandwidth 224 GB / s. In terms of performance, it would be faster than the Radeon R9 380X. It would be one of the best graphics to date in terms of price / performance ratio and would consume about 110W, specifically 80W less power consumption if we compared with the R9 380X. So we have a more powerful, energy – efficient, fresh and economic graphic card promises to run any game at 1080p resolution with high quality.

AMD Radeon RX 460

Radeon R 460 is based on Polaris 11 formed with 896 Stream Processors attached to 2 GB of GDDR5 memory with a memory interface of 128 bits, being the highlight of everything that it has a Mini-ITX size, even slightly smaller than the Radeon R9 Nano and requires no power connector. In terms of performance, its performance could be similar to a Radeon R7 370. Radeon RX 460 is built for eSports games (League of Legends, DOTA 2 or even Overwatch etc.), where we need an economic GPU with very low power consumption (less than 75W) that allow us to play at 60 FPS. Radeon RX 460 will also feature R9 Nano cooler.

“Gamers and consumers today are being left behind. Today only the top 16 percent of PC users can afford GPUs that deliver premium VR and gaming experiences. Hundreds of millions of gamers have been relegated to using outdated technology. Notebook gamers are often forced to compromise. And tens of millions more can only read about incredible PC VR experiences that they can’t enjoy for themselves. That all changes with the Radeon RX Series, placing compelling and advanced high-end gaming and VR technologies within reach of everyone.”
