Prior the official reveal of AMD’s fastest graphics card till date, the specifications of AMD’s upcoming Radeon Pro Duo has been leaked. The first report was published by Videocardz, enclosing some of the important slides in the post. Company wanted to reveal the specs next week, on Tuesday April 26th, the same day it decided to launch the graphics card.
Radeon Pro Duo comes with two Fiji GPU cores, based on current 28nm process node with compute performance of up to 16.38 TFLOPs, 8192 Stream Processors, having core clock speed of 1000MHz, 128 ROPs, 512 texture units with 8 GB of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) and Dual 4096-bit Memory Interface, delivering total bandwidth of 1024 GB/s.
According to the AMD, this new beast delivers performance 1.5 times more than NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX Titan X and 1.3 times more faster than AMD’s R9 295x2. The new Radeon Pro Duo is suitable for both the gaming sector as well as professional designers by having powerful compute performance and features of FireRender Technology and LiquidVR.
