Today AMD officially releases the AMD R7 250X which is around the 10th member of R200 Series, the card is now available in the market with a price tag of only $99. The card is almost same as HD 7770 GHz, seems there is only name changed, but vendors know the way to attract people with some boost Core clock and overclock capabilities.
The R7 250x is positioned between R7 260 and R7 250, the price seems little low, may be the reason is AMD is now going to face his competitor, which is also on the way with 2 mid-range Graphic Cards Gtx 750 and Gtx 750 TI.
In terms of specifications the R7 250x is moved up on the previous generation of Cape Verde, with Core Clock of 1000MHz, 640 stream processors, 40 texture units and 16 ROP. The card will not support the dynamic acceleration, 128-Bit memory interface with Vram of 1/2Gb Gddr5, the thermal power design of R7 250X is 95W.
Additionally, the architecture of R7 250x is GCN 1.0, also supports latest Dx11.2 and new AMD flavor Mantle.
