AMD today announced the launch of its new line of Radeon R3 economic Series SSDs focused on the input range. These solid state drives are available in capacities of 120 GB, 240 GB, 480 GB and 960 GB using TLC NAND Flash memory supported by the Motion SM2256KX  Silicon controller making models of 120GB, 240GB and 480GB to achieve a read speed up to 520 MB / s while the model 960 GB remains in the 510 MB / s. Regarding writing speed, 120GB model reaches 360 MB / s, 240 MB for 480GB, 470 MB / s for and the 960 GB variant at up to 450 MB/s.

All AMD Radeon R3 series SSDs will arrive in a format of 2.5 “with 7 mm thickness using SATA III 6.0 GBps memory interface and have a warranty of three years. Models with 120/240 / 480GB capacities are already listed across the Poland with a price tag of  $40.99, $69.99, and $136.99 respectively, while the 960 GB model still has no price. Official price and availability in other markets is unknown.
