AMD launched its swift and fast Catalyst 15.9.1 Beta graphics drivers in order to solve the VRAM leakage causing in the previous release (Catalyst 15.9 Beta). As previously it was reported that after the installation of new beta drivers, a lot of users based on Windows 10 PCs have complained the leak VRM (memory for Graphics card) bug, the worst of all, once the application is closed the memory is never freed, being necessary to restart the computer in order to free the memory consumption.

On the other hand, we have already seen the improvements in these drivers, such as support and optimization for Star Wars: Battlefront and Fable Legends, the first game to utilize the features of newly launched Microsoft API DirectX 12. Apart from new support AMD has also resolved a bug in Dragon Age: Inquisition under the API Mantle, the stuttering found in Assassin’s Creed Unity under a CrossFire configuration, and smaller problems found in the BenQ monitors with a refresh rate of 144 Hz low FreeSync.
