In June AMD launched the latest Generation of APUs for Desktop players, and these APUs will be available from from the very next month. The New Generation of APUs builds on a new core codenamed “Godavari”, which is the successor of Kaveri architecture. Apart from the APUs AMD has also planned to launch some new candies in their FX-series product portfolio and two new processors FX-4330 featuring Quad-core and six-core FX-6330 already listed in online stores of Russia. These new AM1 microprocessors would be available from next month.

AMD FX-4330 and FX-6330 CPUs Spotted In Russia


The AMD FX-4330 uses four cores under the architecture Vishera @ 4.00 GHz  with 8 MB ​​of cache Level 3 (L3) and has a TDP of 95W. In essence, we have a FX-4300 (3.80 GHz) slightly faster (5%) at a price change of $89.5 USD, 10 euros more expensive (20%) compared to the reference model. On the other hand, we have the AMD FX-6330, which unfortunately there is no additional information except its name. Both CPUs will use the socket AM3 and its release date is unknown.

The new processors will be compatible with socket AM3 motherboards, but you have to update the BIOS.
