After releasing the First ARM-based Processor Opteron A1100, now AMD exposed the motherboard of ARM. This is a small desktop motherboard with 4 DDR3 memory slots, Expansion Slot PCI-E 3.0 (Single or dual x8, x4), 8 SATA 6GBPs interface and with a lot of input and output interface.  Additionally, AMD said that in march 2014 the reference motherboard will provide to the developers.

The development of motherboard will supports UEFI boot. The motherboard looks simple and short in structure, and as we see in the picture Two Senior-pin power supply and 4 memory slot notebook type and 8x  SATA 6GBps interface. If we talk about Opteron A1100 processor, which is also using the same simple heatsink of aluminum.


The new AMD A1100 Opteron processor will provide as samples to the customers at the Q2 of this year.
