A touch-pad on a laptop or a desktop is not very useful for most people, but if you want to equip your display with a touch panel then you can contact with a team which has already developed sensor for touch operations. Introducing the AIRBAR a magnetic bar should be placed at the bottom of the screen and occupying a USB port of your PC, after a quick calibration with your finger or stylus, the Airbar sensor allows touch screen operations.

AIRBAR Turns Your Screen Into A Touch Panel

This module is compatible with Windows and Chrome OS based computers and does not require the installation of any drivers, because after calibration you can make or remove the zoom by pinching the screen, move the contents with your finger or a stylus. For now, its use in Apple computers is very limited.

“Imagine taking a non-touch PC, and within seconds making it a touch interactive device. Our sensor does not require installation of new drivers or lengthy instructions. The user simply connects AirBar and can then start to interact with the display immediately – it´s Plug and Touch. Compared with today’s PCs with built in touchscreens the AirBar sensor keeps your high quality matte display glare free and without greasy finger prints,“ said Remo Behdasht, SVP Business Development at Neonode.

The initial version of AIRBAR will be available for 15.6″ notebooks, next week at CES, hoping that sometime in the first half of 2016 it will go on sale. The sensor is now available for pre-order at a price tag of 45 euros.
