Microsoft Studios Creative Director Adam Isgreen introduced himself to the PC Gaming Show to reveal a welcome surprise to fans of real-time strategy game. The original Age of Empires receives the Definitive Edition treatment and it will be re-launched for the PC platform with the new audiovisual section, support for 4K resolution, more zoom levels, and adjusted gameplay.

Age of Empires Definitive Edition Announced For PC

To celebrate the announcement, Microsoft released the corresponding trailer where you can see the comparison with the original game, and also began to register for the beta test closed on the official site. Age of Empires: Definitive Edition will arrive by the end of ‘year exclusive Windows 10 PC.
