At CES 2017 Acer announced its flagship curved gaming monitor, the Acer Predator Z301CT, equipped with an IPS panel with a curvature 1800R of 30 inches at a resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels at an aspect ratio of 21: 9 which reaches an sRGB 100% color coverage, a 3000: 1 contrast ratio and maximum brightness of 300 nits. Offers a refresh rate of 200 Hz with the support of NVIDIA G-Sync technology for much more fluid images thanks to the synchronization of the frames thrown by the graphics card with the refresh rate of the monitor.
Known information of the Acer Predator Z301CT completed with a response time of 4 milliseconds, the addition of a pair of 3 watt speakers with DTS Sound technology and the dubious incorporation of Tobii Eye (the monitor is supposed to be able to rotate the camera angles as the gamer’s focus turns towards the sides of the display), which means that all you’ll have to do is aim and shoot, making it feel more “realistic” than regular targeting using a keyboard and mouse. The screen can be adjusted in height and tilt. In terms of display outputs we have two DisplayPort 1.2a ports and HDMI 1.4a. The new flagship gaming monitor will go on sale in February at a price of 899 euros.
