SEGA today announced the new and exciting Creative Assembly strategy title that reconstructs one of the great stories ever told, A Total War Saga: TROY. Inspired by Homer’s Iliad, TROY will allow you to forge your heroic legacy during the Bronze Age in delivering the franchise that has traveled the most in time.
In TROY, the fate of the Aegean civilization will be in your hands. Every decision you make will influence the lands from the heights of the mythical Mount Olympus to the arid deserts of Lemnos. Experience the story as it could have happened or transform the legend yourself into this peculiar chapter of Total War.
Homer’s Iliad is full of myths, legends, gods and monsters. TROY takes us fully to these events through the lens of history to consider what might have really happened but always leaving the player to decide which heroes will fall in battle and which heroes will be immortalized in the legends.
The battlefields will shake under the soles of renowned warriors like Achilles and Hector but it will take more than brute force to conquer the legendary city of Troy. You will need to manage the barter economy with skill, develop in diplomacy between friends and enemies and win the favor of the gods themselves before engraving your name in the annals of history.
Total War Saga deliveries the great strategy and real-time battles in a Total War game at a critical point in our past, allowing the player to determine the outcome of these critical moments in history. These changes in size and perspective make Total War Saga games the perfect place for innovation that, in the future, could influence the next major titles in the saga.
A Total War Saga: TROY will arrive PC via Steam in 2020.
